A 1986 Tennessee Rescue Squad license plate #RS-4572, in good condition as pictured. This is a white license plate with black numbers and it has the Emergency designation at the bottom of the license plate. You are not seeing double when you look at this license plate. This is a license plate with a bit of a twist. In 1985, Tennessee started to combine a few designations and wrap them onto license plates that say emergency at the bottom. Because of this, the RS on this one specifies that it is a rescue squad license plate. Other types or designations that may have been on an emergency base plate would include Volunteer Firefighter, Civil Air Patrol, Auxiliary Police, Civil Defense and Sheriff license plates.
